Like many folks, my family and I decided to add a new pet to the
family during the pandemic. It was a cockatiel. We named her Rocky. Most people think owning a bird is like having a fish. Something pretty on display in a cage, but having a cockatiel is like having a feisty little chihuahua – that can fly! She cocks her head in such a way that it’s as if you can see her wheels turning. Trying to figure things out. I thought, what if birds where people. I imagine they’d be colorful like a modern day hipster. This idea spawned my “Bird People”.
